AVI SHACHAR | President
A former
Lieutenant Colonel with the Israeli intelligence, Avi is
a recognized expert on Intelligence, Early Warning,
Terrorism and securities fraud. Avi spent 16 years in
senior roles with the Israeli Military Intelligence
including head of Early Warning Section (Northern
Command) and head of Research, Analysis and Early
Warning Branch (Lebanese front).
In 2001
Avi was one of the founding members and Senior
Intelligence Analyst of the Joint Securities
Intelligence Unit at the Ontario Securities Commission,
a unit that was created jointly with the RCMP to combat
organized criminal activities in the North American
capital markets. In 2004, Avi founded Sprylogics
International Inc. (formerly Nexight Corp.), a developer
of intelligence early warning and investigative
software. Avi is a graduate of the Joint Military
Intelligence College in Washington, DC and is a
certified Securities Investigator. Avi has been featured
on CTV's W-5 investigative show, the May 2005 edition of
Canadian Business Magazine, The National Post, Western
Standard and other publications.
MICHAEL
FRANK | CEO
Michael has over 20 years
experience in the high technology sector in operations,
business development, mergers and acquisitions, and
raising funding in the capital markets. As Director of
Mifran Consulting, he provided advisory services to
emerging technology firms, including Nightingale
Informatix, a leading software company focused on the
healthcare industry where he was instrumental in the
organization's acquisition strategy. Additionally, he
was a key business strategist to MDEX, a supplier of
mission critical surveillance software and technology.
In 1999, as Executive Vice President of Hutchison Avenue
Software, a financial software developer, he was
instrumental in the sale of the company to Intuit
Corporation. Additionally he has held senior
sales/marketing roles at Data General, and NCR.
ALEX
ZIVKOVIC | CTO
Alex brings a special combination
of advanced technology and hands-on management
experience in the development of advanced intelligent
software applications. As founding partner and CEO of
Intellimerce Inc., Alex directed the design, development
and deployment of custom software solutions in various
fields for international clients such as Dun &
Bradstreet Canada, LMI and Marsh & McLennan. Alex
was the visionary behind open source business
intelligence tools that are currently used by thousands
of developers worldwide and by various fortune 500
companies and sits on the XML/A council with Microsoft,
SAS and Hyperion. He holds a Bachelors of Science in
Engineering and a Masters in Process Control &
Automation for work in artificial intelligence.
